“God Bless America”

My brother-in-law,  Jimmy Rosa, loved his Harley Davidson V-ROD.  This motorcycle was without a doubt the fastest “on the ground” vehicle he had driven.   While he traveled much faster [ground speed] as a pilot and captain of Airbus 300’s,  the V-ROD was his pride and joy.

Jimmy passed away this spring.  He is greatly missed by his wife Terry, his children and family members and his many many friends.

Take a  minute and look at [the link below] his memorial service which was held at Beach Church in Myrtle Beach SC.  The service clearly reflects Jimmy’s life.

By the way, one of his favorite sayings was “God Bless America“.

James “Jimmy” Rosa went to live on in eternity with our Lord Jesus on March 29.

Jimmy was born May 18, 1959, in New York City, New York.

His heart reflected how much he loved to laugh, and he brought happiness to all those around him with his smile. Being a pilot of aviation, Jimmy enjoyed the skies and had the best view from an airplane. From the seat of his motorcycle, he enjoyed a passion for riding in the wind and experiencing the many places the road would take him.

Jimmy was predeceased by son, Lance Cpl. Anthony James Rosa, Sept. 23, 2010.

Jimmy’s heart was to love others because Jesus first loved him, therefore he was loved by many.

He is survived by wife Terry Rosa of Myrtle Beach. Jimmy is also survived by oldest daughter Jessica and husband Adrian Valentine and their children, Mason, Selina, Aaron and Evan of Cape Coral, Florida; Jimmy’s daughter Jennifer Rosa and children, Gabriela, Sebastian, and Andres of Orlando, Florida; Jimmy’s son James II and wife Harmonee Rosa, their children Magnolia, Apollo and Atlas of Tampa, Florida; Jimmy’s daughter Alexis Rosa, as well as Shannon Berger, and her children Madyson, and Sophia of Burlington, Vermont; Terry’s son, Eric and wife Shyana Frost and their son Miles and Terry’s daughter Beth Anne and husband Will Hughes and their daughters Norah and Alice of Raleigh, North Carolina. Jimmy is also survived by sisters Leonora Rosa and Margarita Rosa Bushman of Orlando, Florida, and brothers Jose A. Rosa of Orlando; and Rev. Dr. Peter H. Rosa, LT US Navy, CHC, Ret. of Pembroke Pines, Florida.
